How much should a skateboard cost? Well, that is a good question and a good cheap skateboard should run you around thirty dollars. This assumes that you will not be purchasing form a large retail or department store.
Many local skateboard shops offer blank or shop decks at a reasonable price. Remember though cheap skateboards from a core shop are no less the quality then the pro decks, the only difference is the graphics on the bottom.
I have been riding blanks and shop decks for as long as I can remember. In part because I rode for the shop so they gave them to me for free but that is beside the point. The point is that you can save your self some money and get a blank.
If you really want cheap skateboards you will notice I have a link on this page for a pack of five decks. If you want to go this route you will have to pick up some grip tap but you will be into each board for under $20.00. I rode with a guy who lived off of these deals, and every two weeks or so he was on a new board.
Just remember it doesn’t matter what board you ride but rather how you ride it.
If any one else knows of where you can find cheap skateboards let us know.
